 The Kenilworth Lodge has been serving brides for nearly a century! The historic ambience created by the large lobby and ballrooms invite your guests to relax and enjoy your special day.
The Kenilworth Lodge has several separate spaces that could become part of your wedding ceremony or reception. We can assist you with a variety of wedding plans including destination weddings and ceremonies & receptions for 6 to 200.
The Grand Staircase is a favorite photo spot for brides and wedding parties. The large lobby offers multiple seating areas for guests waiting their turn for group wedding photos. Disposable wedding cameras are a great idea for guests who did not know you chose such a picturesque site.
The Plantation Ballroom
The largest and most historic option, it is 3600 sq-ft with 11- foot ceilings, peach walls, white columns and original raised wooden floors. Lining the walls are tall windows, dressed in tapestry valances and burgundy drapes with pastel peach sheers. The ballroom also has a stage and a permanent wet bar. Perfect for a sit-down reception, with dancing for up to 180 guests. The guest count can increase to 210 for receptions not needing dance floor space.
The Cabaret Room
The second largest ballroom is approx 1500 sq-ft, with cream walls and windows on three sides. It is dressed with floor to ceiling drapes and features a curved front, 14- foot ceilings and raised wooden floors. The ballroom has a small service kitchen with a pass through wet bar. It is perfect for wedding ceremonies or sit-down receptions for up to 110 guests.
The Victory Chapel
The intimate 700 sq-foot room is a sun-filled delight with windows on three sides, and views of Lake Jackson. It has been chosen for small wedding ceremonies, receptions for 30 and bridal showers. It is perfect for small ceremonies of 20-40 or sit-down receptions for up to 30 guests.
The Fireplace
For a quiet wedding with bride, groom and 4 guests. The lobby fireplace is a perfect spot to seal your vows.
Ideal for weddings of 6 people including bride & groom.
The Front Verandah
For a small wedding, nothing says romance like the front verandah at sunset! This location can be used for weddings with 10 guests or less.
Nearby Highlands Hammock
For a larger outdoor wedding, schedule with Highlands Hammock State Park and then come to the Kenilworth Lodge for the reception.
