Tour of Sebring - Labor Day

The largest of all the bicycle events, the Tour of Sebring, held each Labour Day weekend, The 31st year.

This ride is a fun event (not a race) the has been a favorite of riders of all ages and levels for over 30 years.

Event Registration Includes:

3 Days of Rides - on a diversity of routes

Saturday - Istokpoga 63 mi, Lake Josephine 31 mi, 24 or 11 mile rides

Sunday - Bok Tower Century 105 mi, Lake Reedy 63 mi, Avon Park 31 mi, 24 or 11 mile rides

Monday - Crewsville 62 mi, Oak Creek Bridge 48 mi, 24 or 11 mile rides

Fully supported routes with cue sheets & maps, on-road route marks, excellent rest stops, bicycle mechanic, and dispatched SAG service vehicles. Rest stops along the way are staffed with friendly people and stocked with fruit, sandwiches, water and sports drink.

Food

After ride meal A full hot meal each day are deluxe buffet lunch menus with carving stations as well as a buffet line. For example, this year (2013) main entrees on Sunday include Carved Turkey Breast with cranberry sauce & conrbread stuffing, Grilled Mahi Mahi with Pineapple relish or Grillded Chicken Veracruz.

Ice cream social on Saturday and Sunday

Other things to do: include: The Cusworth Arms Pub, socializing, kayaking, swimming, games, movies, golfing, shopping for cyclists at Sun Cycle

Event Co-Hosts - Highlands Pedalers bicycle club & the historic Kenilworth Lodge where all rides, registration & packet pick up originate.

Early Registration Deadline - August 21. Event t-shirts will be guaranteed for riders registering by this deadline. No refunds after this deadline.
