Highlands Pedalers is the local bicycling club for Sebring, Avon Park and Lake Placid.
They welcome travelers in the area to join their weekly rides throughout this beautiful area.
Weekly rides are:
• Saturday & Sunday - 7:30am - Starts at the Bike Shop on US 27. Several groups ride at different paces.
• Monday and Wednesday - 5:30pm - News-Sun parking lot on US 27 (south of Pizza Hut). Two laps around Lake Jackson during the summer, one lap in the winter. Recovery pace on Monday. Intervals on Wednesday.
•Tuesday & Thursday - 6pm - Starts at first roundabout on Sun & Lake Blvd., Several groups ride at different paces.
•Breakfast Ride - First Saturday after club meeting - 8:30am - City Pier, no drop ride. 10-20 miles, breakfast, then 10-20 miles. Bring cash.
